OHCI offers a wealth of personal and functional care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of dependent clients. These may include children and young people as well as older people. We support those who may be presenting with a physical disability, autistic persons, learning disabilities and people who need assistance due to mental health to continue living in their own homes and community. We achieve support by promoting a standard of excellence, which embraces fundamental principles of Person Centred Care practice that is witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the domestic environment.​

Principle Consultant and Registered Manager Miriam Mutizwa

Miriam is a driven IT Systems Engineer with 20+ years’ experience in various IT Sectors and Financial Services Management space including eCommerce. Conversant with various online communication systems and the laws governing Data Protection and Data integrity for both online and offline communications. Miriam is a director for Oxford Community Land Trust, a Community Benefit Society registered in 2006 and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority with charitable status. OCLT has a strong board and excellent governance arrangements. She is also a former MicroBanker and horticulturist. Miriam has worked in various sectors on three continents throughout her adult life. She is currently working in Project Management in the Health and Social Care, Procurement and Environment sectors. Miriam has over 6 years in the health and social care sector both in administration and care activities. Experience and training gained over the past few years has positioned her well in navigating the sector. 

Operations Manager - Donica Collinson

Donica is a versatile professional with a background in marketing, team leadership and social care. She has a wealth of experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with learning disabilities, elderly adults, and children. As a marketing professional, Donica has a proven track record of creating and executing successful campaigns across various channels. She has also demonstrated her ability to lead and drive results as a team leader. Donica’s experience in social care has given her a unique perspective on the importance of empathy, compassion, and effective communication in any role. Donica will be supporting the principle consultant at OHCI with project management, and process optimization to ensure the smooth and efficient running of operations while delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Care Coordinator - Ankit Sharma

Ankit holds a BA in Political Science and History. He has a background in banking as well as in food industry in India. He joined us in 2023 and has been instrumental to the firm’s Business Development and Resources Management. Ankit has experience managing teams and matching tasks with the right person. He is currently studying toward Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social care.

After his tenure in banking, Ankit transitioned to the healthcare field, serving as a Senior Carer at Mittal Hospital. In this role, he developed essential skills in patient care, empathy, and teamwork, providing support to individuals with varying levels of needs.

Upon relocating to the UK, Ankit joined our team, where he supports management of resources to optimise service delivery. He possesses extensive experience working with high-needs young people, effectively supporting them in engaging social activities and fostering discussions around sports, which helps promote their social integration and well-being.

Team Leader Deployment - Manjeet Walia

Manjeet has a background in education as a primary school teacher in India. Experience supporting high needs young people with challenging behaviour and risk of self-harm and those presenting with ADHD condition.

Special training in addition to Mandatory care standards include; Autism Awareness, Oliver McGowen Part 1 and Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression Certified (PMVA).

Team Leader Quality - Hammed Salawudeen
Hammed is a former Biology teacher, Lab Tech and Pharmacy tech. He has experience working with and engaging young persons as a mentor and academic teacher. Hammed holds an MSc in Biochemistry.
He is a dedicated worker with knowledge of diverse care needs. Offers companionship and engaging activities for clients. Holds local area knowledge.
Hammed loves fashion trends from both a designing and following trends perspective.
